This time Stacy's son was with us and we were sharing our experience in Memphis just 3 days prior. However, bar and standing room packed.
Once again we had a delicious meal courteously served in a pleasant atmosphere (like the first visit).... and the appy was complimentary as we had to wait for a table!

Long gone are the days of free refills and a "soda gun" behind the bar. I asked to be seated at the bar booths since I was alone and got my drink order right away and asked suggestion on Rotisserie Kale Salad and Thai Noodle salad the waitress Kirstyn suggested Thai salad and it was fairly quick. Food & drink is always great. The service was good, nice romantic ambience, and good tasting food.

Their dining room was crowded and many tables and booths were seated full and next to each other. Servers are knowledgeable about wine. They added a chicken sandwich to the menu which is shockingly bad. Food is just OK and the service I had tonight was really sloppy. What safety measures are they taking? When your hostess sets the tone for the patrons as soon as they walk in the door aloofness is not what you want impart upon them. It is definitely $$$ though. I started with the "Coconut Shrimp Roll" based on the suggestion of a friend, it was the perfect appetizer, sweet and savory and not too heavy. We saw several come out around us, even to new tables, so we know it wasn't 'out' or something.

Coke in the bottle is cute, but get a service and offer free drink refills. Sorry Cherry Creek, but this place doesn't deserve four stars. You can get regular coffee, but at 8:00 at night that's not what I want. I ordered the coconut shrimp roll but got the macadamia shrimp roll instead. Always nice. If Hillstone's doesn't enforce the rule then i guess I must find another restaurant that will. Anyway the food was ok, the servers were trying their best, this restaurant isnt adhering to covid guidelines as well as others in the same area.
